Transcription Work From Home Hack

Remember that trick I talked about at the beginning of this page?

1. Open a new Google Doc.
2. Under the Tools menu, select Voice Typing.
3. Select Click to Speak on the microphone icon.
4. Listen to a short clip of your audio over headphones (then pause).
5. Speak the clip clearly and watch as the words are typed into the Google Doc.
6. Continue to listen and speak a portion until you have completed the audio file.

This will cut down your transcribing time immensely, especially if you aren’t a fast or accurate typist.
